Order a free product to help you write and/or find grants and you too can get unauthorized monthly charges from companies you have never heard of! Some of these companies include BSM/SBA Express, BSM/Grant Search Asst and Network Agenda.

Call 800-546-2919, cancel everything immediately and demand a refund for all of the unauthorized withdrawals. They will tell you that you did not read the fine print and that you did authorize the services while you were online. Do not give in to their pitch. I did read everything and there was nothing referring to future charges.

Complain enough and you might just get your money back in three to five days. They will give you confirmation numbers of each individual refund. Be sure to write them down for future reference.

Contact your bank and tell them that any charges from these companies are NOT authorized by you and ask them to not allow them to be processed. Tell the customer service rep you are doing this. I would also tell them that you are reporting them to the Better Business Bureau (and be sure to do it; they must be stopped).

I am a grant writer for a lot of not-for-profits. Every dollar I spend to help find and obtain a grant is a dollar that is spent administratively and is not going towards the program that actually needs the money.
